I am a Suffolk-based artist and educator. My work centres around observations and themes relating to the human form. Sugi Ceramics is the name I have assumed for my ceramics work. The name Sugi is taken from the Japanese word Kintsugi; the art of repairing broken ceramics with gold.

I love to share my passion for the arts through Education, both formally and informally. I teach Visual Arts at Abbeygate Sixth Form College in Bury St Edmunds and deliver public workshops in ceramics and life drawing. I also design and deliver Community Arts outreach projects to engage children and young people within the arts in a contextual way.
