HEN PARTIES
I can accommodate up to 12 people on-site and can be mobile to visit your own location. All participants will make a clay outcome that will be fired and available to collect at a later, pre-arranged date. No prior experience is necessary; all sessions are guided and source material is provided for inspiration. Alternatively, come with your own ideas and imagery to incorporate into your design. All materials and aprons are provided.
All ceramic ware is glazed and fired and can be picked up from the studio at a later date by prior arrangement. Postal service is available at an additional cost.
Choose from a full-day workshop at 10 am – 4.00 pm, or a half-day workshop, 10 – 12.30 pm. Outcomes are flexible and negotiable; I am happy to discuss any specific ideas or themes that you may have. Check out clay workshop gallery for ideas. Choose from half-day or full-day workshop. Life drawing (from the nude form) can also be arranged as a one-off activity or can be combined with your clay-making activity.
Refreshments are provided during the sessions. Additional prosecco can be arranged as part of your hen experience. Lunch bookings at the nearby Fox pub can be made in advance of your session if you are wanting to dine out for lunch. Alternatively, you may bring your own lunch - a kettle, toaster and microwave are available at the studio for your use. Other amenities in the village are within close walking distance; they include a fish & chip shop, Chinese takeaway and Co-op.
Elmswell is close to the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds and has good transport links via train and road (A14). The studio itself is situated on Station Road Industrial Estate adjacent to Elmswell train station. Free parking is available to those who travel by car.
Workshop costs will vary depending on your group number and specific requirements. Please contact me to discuss your needs so that I can tailor a quote for your hen party.
